UPDATE: Police find missing Ross-shire man 'safe and well'

A ROSS-shire man who sparked a police missing person inquiry has been found safe and well.

Police issued the appeal after John Prentice (58) disappeared from the Balintore area at 10.30am this morning. He was driving at the time.

Shortly before 5pm officers confirmed that he had been located.

"Members of the media and the public are thanked for their assistance," said a police spokesman.
