Compere, Ian Simpson, warmly welcomed members and friends to the first musical evening of the season in the Legion, Dingwall.

For the special occasion, the guest artiste was the popular Ewan Galloway Band with Ewan and Alistair MacLeod on accordions, Andrew Knight on fiddle and Ian Grey on drums.

They played a great variety of tunes suitable for dancing and listening.

At the interval, beautiful, celebration cakes were enjoyed by the audience along with a cup of tea.

Supporting players on accordions were Cammie MacLean, Monica MacLean and Susie Simpson.

Gillian Stevenson played fiddle and Martin MacLean and Maggie Jamieson played drums. Christine Matheson and Susie accompanied them on piano.

Heather Lyon from the Sutherland Club made her debut on stage playing fiddle accompanied by guest artiste, Ewan on accordion.

At the beginning of the evening a special tribute for the late Frankie Fraser was played by the InverRoss Band.

An empty chair stood with his photograph while InverRoss played a selection of his favourite tunes.

Frankie was a friend, a supporter of the club and a longstanding member of InverRoss. He will be sadly missed.
