A WESTER Ross secondary school has welcomed its new team of senior prefects.

Plockton High School, which has a roll of 263 pupils, is run by Highland Council, and is the secondary school destination for most pupils from Applecross, Auchtertyre, Glenelg, Kyle, Kyleakin, Loch Duich, Lochcarron and Plockton primaries.

The senior prefect team is Calum Reeves-Womble, Ketan Mackenzie, Beth Murphy and Amelia Sutherland.
