‘Vulnerable’ Black Isle woman again reported missing as appeal centres on Glasgow
UPDATE: Thanks to public as missing woman is traced
FAMILY and close friends of a vulnerable Black Isle woman have renewed an appeal for help to trace her and keep her safe.
The 22-year-old, who is 5ft 3in, was last seen wearing a multi-coloured hemp style hoodie and black leggings. She has dyed purple/red hair.
A police appeal for help tracing Rainbow was initially made on Monday.

Yesterday (Wednesday), Sergeant Duncan Birse said: “We are extremely concerned for Rainbow’s welfare, and we are urging anyone who may have seen her, or who has information on her whereabouts, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
And then this morning (Thursday), police said she had been traced.
However a close family friend who has known Rainbow for many years has now flagged that she is again missing having been “reluctantly” released late last night by police in Glasgow.
Claire Mackay, from Cromarty, described Rainbow as “very vulnerable” and without money, phone, ID, bank card or bus pass.
She has posted her details on the Missing People Scotland Facebook page and raised concerns about the assessment which allowed her to be released in such a vulnerable condition.
She said: “I’m only sharing this information publicly because Rainbow has been let down by all the services involved and we just really need to find her so we can get her to a place of safety.”
She has contacted homeless groups and charities in Glasgow.
She has been given an incident number by police. It is: PS20250807 - 1446.
She is particularly keen for people in the Glasgow city centre area to keep an eye out for her and make contact either with police on 101 or herself on a number she has shared on the Missing People Scotland Facebook page, if seen.
The Ross-shire Journal made several attempts to clarify the situation with police today without response.
