A POIGNANT Black Isle tractor run delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic will this Saturday turn heads across the Black Isle as part of a colourful fundraiser for a cancer charity.

Iain and Caroline MacRae of Shawpark Farm, Munlochy, had planned to hold an event in aid of Breast Cancer Now in 2020.

Cancer survivor Caroline is keen to raise awareness as well as funding – and a beautiful tractor in the charity's pink colours will be amongst the 80-plus involved in an event which culminates in a family fun day at the farm from 2pm.

The charity tractor run will leave from Highland Grain, Tore from 9am proceeding through Munlochy, North Kessock, Muir of Ord, Conon and Maryburgh, Dingwall Mart before arriving at Shawpark Farm where spectators can check them out.

On their return the farm fun day opens with an array of activities for all ages. A kids mini tractor run, stock judging, sheep, cattle, alpacas, pygmy goats, Shetland ponies and a Highland dancing display are planned. The Royal Highland Educational Trust (RHET) will also attend with the chance to milk Daisy the Cow.

Local businesses have generously donated some fantastic raffle prizes.
