FIREFIGHTERS were tackling another major fire at Invergordon's Park Primary School on Saturday morning.

Firefighters from Invergordon, Tain, Dingwall, Dornoch, Fortrose and Inverness were all scrambled to the scene shortly after the alarm was raised at 7.03am.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a building measuring 50 metres by 20 metres was "well alight, with flames through the roof".

It is the second devastating fire to hit the school site in a year, and comes almost exactly a year ago to the day after the first, which tore through the school site on February 24 last year.
