Two Royal Navy vessels were spotted in the Highlands today.

They were Archer-class patrol and training boats which were travelling through Muirtown Locks in Inverness.

After navigating the locks HMS Trumpeter and HMS Puncher were due to head along the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness before ending up in Fort William.
