Police were called to to a house in Dingwall earlier today and have closed off the immediate vicinity.

Police officers are attending an incident in Dingwall following a reported disturbance earlier today.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed the force received a report of a disturbance within a property on Gladstone Avenue at about 8.50am

"Officers remain on scene," she said.

"The incident is contained and there is no risk to the wider public."

One eyewitness described how they had been shocked to see a police presence when passing the area.
