Trini Graham-Stewart, from Tomich, is swimming daily throughout January in lochs, rivers and the sea to highlight the freezing temperatures homeless people have to endure.
The money raised from the challenge will be donated to homelessness charity Shelter.
The 28-year-old, who runs her own sea glass jewellery business, has been a keen wild swimmer for a number of years.
“I chose Shelter as I wanted to show the parallel between the extreme cold of wild swimming in the Highlands in winter and the cold conditions homeless people have to endure during these months,” she said.
“I wanted to highlight that so many people aren’t fortunate enough to have a warm home to go back to.”
Between 2020 and 2021, there were more than 33,000 applications for homelessness assistance in Scotland.
Ms Stewart has currently raised £891 for Shelter through her efforts and swum at locations like Portmahomack, Rosemarkie and Home Falls.
