AN Easter Ross care home that has so far this year managed to stage its own music festival, Highland games and Oscars' night despite the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, wasn't about to stop there...
Staff at Innis Mhor in Tain put themselves in the firing line – quite literally – by handing Nerf guns to residents keen to take pot shots.
The toy blasters, which fire foam darts, are a perennial favourite with children.
Staff reckoned there was no reason residents couldn't have a go and many relished the opportunity.
A tongue in cheek post from the Parklands Care operated facility declared it their favourite activity so far.
It joked: "All the staff are bruised and covered in pink marks but it’s all in the line of duty – the laughter made it all worth while."
Many well-wishers and relatives took to social media to share the fun.
One wrote: "So amazing to see everyone enjoying life so much – well done to all your staff for going the extra mile for your residents/friends."
Another said: "Love this, that’s what it’s all about, fun and laughter."
