PICTURES: Black Isle Show returns in full force as preview evening goes down well

THE Black Isle Show returned yesterday evening for the first time since 2019 as locals enjoyed a variety of entertainment.

Kicking the day off was showjumping, followed by a vintage tractor parade, kids races, monster trucks, sheep shearing and a marquee dance to close the night.

There was also a parade of livestock and the judging of the champion of champions.

Families enjoyed watching the fun and browsing food and shopping stalls.

The horticulture section was also set up and awards were given out.

Organisers described it as "a fabulous day".

Today sees the main day of the show, with gates opening at 8am.

Highlights include livestock judging, monster trucks, cooking demonstrations and a dog show.

Tickets can be bought online or on the gate.
