The moon over the sea.

A railway worker captured an amazing moonlit sky from his mobile phone.

Dominic Gill, from Inverness, was on the evening train between Inverness and Wick last night when he captured the 'beaver' moon.

After sharing his photo online almost 600 people have commented on his link.

Mr Gill said: "Just north of Tain this evening. Not bad for a mobile phone through the window of a moving train."

On social media others agreed.

Calling it stunning, awesome and beautiful, Carolyn Parker said: "What a shot!".
