AN iconic Ross-shire venue is set to host a gig by one of the hottest live act tickets in Scotland.

Strathpeffer Pavilion has been confirmed as a stopping off point for the Western Isles' finest, Peat & Diesel, on their forthcoming Away with your Wellies tour.

The venue, which has come under community ownership, this evening posted: "We are very excited – Peat & Diesel are coming to Strathpeffer Pavilion."

The band, who have built a loyal following with joyous live shows, play the Pavilion on March 17, 2022.

Tickets are set to go on sale on Thursday at 10am.

With an album titled Light My Byre and singalong tunes like Western Isles and Country Boy, the Stornoway-based act has forged its own path and accrued an ever-growing fan base.

The Strathpeffer gig is age 14-plus with under 18s needing to be accompanied by an adult.

As per current Scottish Government regulations, Covid vaccine passport checks will be undertaken at the event.

The tour also takes in Wick Waterfront on March 12, Elgin Town Hall on March 18 and The Nevis Centre in Fort William on April 18.
