Roy MacGregor: Keen to see club support another sponsored away day this weekend

ROSS County fans are being given a major incentive to follow their favourites on the road with the club today announcing that it will again sponsor supporters' buses to this weekend's clash with St Mirren.

In the wake of Saturday's important home victory over Kilmarnock, chairman Roy MacGregor is hoping to mobilise "the dark blue army" for another foray away from home.

Saturday's victory pulled Ross County out of the relegation play-off slot at the expense of their opponents.

But with just a handful of points seperating sides in the bottom half of the league, there remains no room for complacency with just three matches left to play.

The football club, which earlier this month forked out for supporters' buses for the away game against Hearts, has decided to step in again to help supporters wanting to make it to Paisley.

Said Mr MacGregor: “On the back of a great team performance to beat Kilmarnock I can’t wait for this Saturday’s match, and I know it’s the same for all of our fans who want to play their part in the final fixtures by giving the boys their full support.

"I know from the fans I spoke to over the past week that a lot of them made their first ever trip to an away game for the match against Hearts and enjoyed the crack of travelling on the supporters coaches and being part of a dark blue army, so we wanted to do our part to help get them mobilised again for the trip to St Mirren Park.”

Seats on the supporters coaches, which depart from the Global Energy Stadium with pick-ups at Tore and Inverness, can be booked by calling the club on 01349 860860 or visiting the Main Reception in person during normal office hours.

They are also available to book online 24 hours a day.

Fans are asked to be aware that even though seats are free they must be booked in advance.
