THE Original Factory Shop is to reopen its Dingwall store on Monday as lockdown restrictions on non-essential retailers are eased.
The Dingwall store has been closed since March 23, as part of the Covid-19 lockdown, but will be reopening with social distancing measures, protective screens and customer number limits from June 29.
The full list of measures includes:
- Two metre social distancing markings
- Basket sanitisation stations
- Protective screens at checkouts
- Limits on the number of customers allowed in stores at any time
- Customers are recommended to make contactless card payments – and the limit has been increased to £45
- All staff have been supplied with face visors, masks and gloves
Emma Fox, The Original Factory Shop's CEO, said: “For the last 50 years, our shops have sat in the heart of local communities and we are delighted to be re-opening our store in Dingwall. We have continued to monitor the situation, staying close to the government guidelines, and the Dingwall store is reopening with changes to ensure everyone feels safe while visiting us.
“I’d like to thank all colleagues for their patience and support as we continue to navigate through these unprecedented times and look forward to welcoming our loyal customers back into the Dingwall store.”
