Children's charity The Archie Foundation hosted its iconic abseil at Dunrobin Castle.

With brilliant weather, brave fundraisers headed to the tallest tower of the castle and sailed down more than 40 metres.

Participants were joined by Inverness Hospital Radio which added to the buzz by encouraging participants and everyone around.

The charity's mascot Archie Bear posed for photos and kept the atmosphere going on social media.

The Archie Foundation supports local sick babies and children across the Highlands and beyond.

Karen Mangan, regional fundraising officer at The Archie Foundation said: “From all of us at The Archie Foundation, we want to say a massive thank you to all of our incredible abseilers, we are so grateful for your support.

"I also want to say a special shout out to those who volunteered on the day to make the day run as smoothly as it did, we really appreciate you giving up your time to volunteer for us.

"We are still counting, and the participants are still bringing in their donations, but we are confident we raised a significant amount of money to help sick children and their families all over the Highlands and islands.”
