One person was taken to hospital after a collision involving a car and pedestrian on a major Inverness road.

The B9006 Culloden road was closed for a time on Monday morning between the Inshes roundabout and junction for the Inverness Campus following the incident.

“We received a call at 10:08am today (Monday) to attend an incident on the B9006 and transported one patient to Raigmore Hospital,” they said.

The nature of the person’s injuries were not revealed.
