Inverness Sheriff Court heard the 40-year-old mother-of-two who is employed as a chef continued to be aggressive as she was being placed in the police car.

Fiscal depute Shay Traynor told Sheriff Sara Matheson that she kicked out at the windows of the vehicle in an attempt to break them.

"There was only minor damage." Mr Traynor added.

Defence solicitor David Patterson said: "It was not her finest moment. The police had been called to the locus on another matter no longer before the court.

"Alcohol had been taken in vast quantities. She is remorseful and no longer consumes alcohol."

Sheriff Matheson fined Lockie, of St Valery Place, Ullapool, the sum of £380.
