A NORTH radio station is changing its tunes for three special days of fundraising to help it further flourish.
North Highland Radio, which is based in Dingwall, is set to host its third successive Auction August, which is aimed to bring in funds to keep the voluntary-run charity station moving forward.
Thanks to the backing of local businesses, there’s ‘lots’ of fantastic goods and services on offer from 6pm this evening (Friday) until Sunday afternoon.
The usual schedule has been shelved for the three-day event. The full list of auction items available can be viewed at www.northhighlandradio.scot. Items confirmed include luxury accommodation, a signed (yet to be released) album from Torridon, Ross County and Caley Thistle family tickets, music tickets and more.
Station manager Lorraine Chisholm said: “As a charity, we rely on vital funding throughout the year to keep the station running. Costs are rising annually, so every pound raised will be used to keep North Highland Radio on-air.”
