Number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in NHS Highland region remains at 337; no fresh positive tests for Covid-19 since yesterday

NO freshly-confirmed cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the Highlands yesterday.
The daily update from the Scottish Government revealed that the total number of positive tests in the region remained at 337.
The static figure comes amid a backdrop of 48 positive tests across Scotland as a whole – taking the overall tally to 15,288.
Sadly, a further 12 people who tested positive for the coronavirus have since died, or 2316 since the outbreak began.
However, there was better news in the nation's hospitals, which saw the number of people receiving treatment for confirmed cases of the virus fall – down to 797 from 810 the previous day. Those receiving intensive care also fell two to 26.
In NHS Highland, only nine people who tested positive were being treated in the region's hospitals last night (down one).
Elsewhere in the north, there were again no freshly-confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Eileanan Siar, Orkney or Shetland.
NHS Grampian recorded just three positive tests, to take its overall tally to 1259. Its confirmed Covid-19 hospital patients fell slightly too, down to 65 from 69.
And in NHS Tayside there were four new positive tests – or 1665 overall. The number of people receiving hospital treatment after testing positive for the virus fell one to 13.
