A Dingwall farm machinery supplier is expanding its offering with a new range of tractors which it says are perfectly suited to the rigours of farming in the Highlands.

McLaren Tractors, which has served Highland customers since 2003, now sells the McCormick range, with machines ranging in power from just 35hp to 310hp.

Company owner George McLaren said: “McCormick has a reputation for producing quality, long-lasting machinery suitable for the demands of Highland farm life. We are excited to be bringing such a highly regarded brand to McLaren Tractors.

“Some of our existing customers have already placed orders for new McCormick tractors and we anticipate demand will continue to grow. The new machines will complement our existing catalogue and strengthen our offering for our clients across the Highlands and Islands.”

Part of the Argo Tractors group, the McCormick tractor range is now manufactured in Italy, but traces its heritage back to the foundation of the McCormick brand in the 1850s.
