New masterplan for 100 houses on Muir of Ord site

FARMING land on the edge of a Ross-shire village could be the site of a large new housing scheme under new plans.

The Mackay Robertson and Fraser Partnership has come up with a masterplan to build 104 houses at Lochan Corr on Muir of Ord’s Black Isle Road.

It has submitted a proposal of application notice which is on the agenda of Highland Council’s north planning applications committee in Inverness on Tuesday.

It will give councillors a chance to raise any issues regarding the initial plans, which could form the basis of a future planning application.
