Former Highland Council ward manager named deputy lieutenant for Ross and Cromarty

A FORMER Highland Council ward manager well known in Ross-shire has been named a deputy lieutenant for Ross and Cromarty.

Robbie Bain joins the team of Lord Lieutenant Joanie Whiteford who is the Queen's representative in the area.

Mrs Whiteford said: "With his extensive knowledge of the communities of Ross and Cromarty, and Wester Ross in particular, he will be an enormous asset to the lieutenancy team.We look forward to welcoming him to the lieutenancy team."
