A SECOND chance for The Proclaimers’ Highland fans to catch the Reid twins live has presented itself after Friday night’s sold out Inverness Leisure gig – with the announcement of a massive 2019 gig.

Tickets for last weekend’s concert sold out in a matter of minutes, leaving many fans of the Scottish pop icons disappointed.

But now the group have announced a one-off show in Inverness’s Bught Park under a Big Top Tent on Saturday, July 6.

Charlie and Craig Reid said: ““We are looking forward immensely to coming home during the summer for four major Scottish shows. The atmosphere in Scotland is unique and the whole band looks forward to the concerts.

“It's great to be returning to Bught Park and the Highlands audience.”

Les Kidger of LCC Live – who is co-promoting the Inverness date with Regular Music – said: ““This summer we are bringing a Big Top Tent to Bught Park as a venue for The Proclaimers.

“We are delighted to be bringing The Proclaimers back to Inverness next year, and we’re expecting high demand for tickets, following the sell-out of their show this year, in just minutes.

“Gates for the Big Top event will open at 3pm with a full supporting bill with special guests and DJs performing, making it a fun-packed live music event.”

Tickets are available from www.ticketline.co.uk
