A PLUCKY Ross-shire mum and daughter will take the plunge for Munlochy Animal Aid on Saturday – with a sponsored bungee jump at Killiecrankie.

Marion Mullin and Shirley Maddox have teamed up for a challenge not for the faint-hearted.

Marion, of Conon Bridge, has homed dogs from the centre run by Iona Nicol and also helps out with dog walking.

These include Marion's German Sherpherd, Elmo.

She said she was impressed by the recent book published by Mrs Nicol and struck by the high costs of keeping the centre running.

Along with her Alness-based daughter, she would love to raise £1000 to hand over to the centre.

Anyone wanting to contribute can do so by contacting Munlochy Animal Aid through its Facebook page.
