Muir of Ord drug-driver caught for a third time

A 52 year old Muir of Ord man who committed two offences of drug driving and had a similar previous conviction will be sentenced next month.
Craig Jackson of Whin Riggs admitted driving with 5mcg of a cannabis bi-product in his system on Grampian Road, Aviemore on February 5 last year. The safe limit is 2mcg.

On April 11 last year, on Sir Walter Scott Drive, Inverness he committed a similar offence and on this occasion his reading was slightly higher - at 5.2mcg.
Sheriff Ian Cruickshank called for a background report and deferred sentence until July 18.
