AS panto season kicks off across the country, residents at two Ross-shire care homes have been treated to their own magical performance of Peter Pan.

The talented team from Glasgow-based theatre company Shoogalie Road Productions brought the beloved JM Barrie classic to life, as residents at Urray House in Muir of Ord and Eilean Dubh in Fortrose enjoyed a thigh-slapping performance that left everyone hooked.

Debbie Ironside, activities coordinator at Urray House care home in Muir of Ord, said: “Our residents and staff loved every minute of it and had sore cheeks laughing so hard! A big thank you to Conon Hotel for very kindly supporting the event.”

Lucia Matheson, deputy manager at Eilean Dubh in Fortrose said: “From beginning to end, it was a continuous wave of laughter. The performers were incredibly interactive, encouraging everyone to cheer, clap, and laugh along.

“They fostered a lively and joyful atmosphere that kept everyone fully engaged and eager for more. Peter Pan may never grow up, but our residents prove that you’re never too old for a little adventure and a lot of laughter!”
