MOTORISTS are being advised of a temporary road closure in Ross-shire on Monday.

Highland Council says there will be a temporary road closure on a section of the U2626 Glascairn Road, beginning at its junction with the B9169 Muir of Ord – Leanaig – Culbokie - Shoreton Road and extending southwards for a total distance of around 215 metres.

The closure will be in operation from 8am until 5pm on Monday, June 14.

It is required to allow contractors to work safely while carrying out surfacing works.

An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be available via the B9169 - U2582 Wester Dunvournie - Munlochy Road and this will be signed.

Access will be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
