More than a dozen more Highland coronavirus cases as national death toll increases by 46

Thirteen more people in the Highlands have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

They are among 344 new cases since yesterday, taking the national figure to 3345.

The number of deaths in Scotland increased by 46 to 218.

There are 85 confirmed cases in the NHS Highland area. Neighbouring Grampian has 177 cases.

The most are in the Greater Glasgow & Clyde health board area, where 851 people have been diagnosed with the disease.

So far there have been 20,798 Scottish tests carried out.
