Police Scotland officers in Kyle of Lochalsh launch missing person appeal in Wester Ross; Peter Munro, from Shieldaig, was last seen in Dornie on Tuesday

POLICE have appealed for help tracing a missing Shieldaig man who has not been seen since earlier this week.

Officers in Kyle are looking for Peter Munro (41), who was last seen in Dornie on Tuesday evening.

"Peter may have planned to hitch hike to Shieldaig, may have been wearing a red jacket and carrying a blue rucksack," said a police spokesman.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident 1369 of March 5.
