A missing man from Easter Ross has sparked a police appeal for help.

Officers have urged anyone with information that will help trace Robert Horner (62) who is missing from Milton, and has not been seen since a sighting in that village on Wednesday.

Mr Horner is white, 6ft in height, of slim build, with brown receding hair. He normally wears a beret style hat and a yellow coat. Mr Horner has a distinctive walk.

Sergeant Duncan Birse, Dingwall Police Station, said: “Mr Horner was last seen in the Milton area on October 1. We would ask that anyone who has seen Mr Horner please contacts police. Information can be passed to officers via 101"
