MEMBERS of an amateur dramatics group flocked to a bustling Ross-shire landmark better known for its sheep and cattle sales to rehearse.

Interest in Dingwall Players’ A Highland Nativity is building nicely with more than 450 of the available 600 free tickets already booked.

The shows between December 16 and 18 are being staged at Dingwall Mart and looks set to strike a chord with music lovers too featuring support from Dingwall Gaelic Choir, Black Isle Gaelic Choir and Dingwall & District Choral Society.

And in a bid to ensure everyone interested in the shows gets a chance to see them, they will be live-streamed via the group’s Facebook page.

The group’s Nick Fearne said of the venue: “It is a totally different and unique experience but one that lends itself to A Highland Nativity.”
