DELIGHTED organisers of a Ross-shire community market have announced some of the stall holders who will attend their next event – after being "blown away" by the response to their most recent one.

Some 18 different Highland businesses and groups have been confirmed as attending the next Invergordon Town Market – ranging from Loch Ewe Sea Salt in the west, to Cromarty Brewery in the east.

Confirmation of the various groups' identities follows reports last week of huge demand for stalls in the wake of August's hugely successful market.

The next market will be held in the town's Natal Gardens on Saturday, September 26 from 10am to 2pm.

"We are delighted to announce that the town market will be going ahead for September to give us all a little something to look forward to," said a spokesman for the organisers, Invergordon Development Trust.

"We are so lucky to have the most wonderful traders coming along with their lovely produce and crafts so please come along to show your support to Invergordon.

"The sense of community last month absolutely blew us all away and although it is once again a smaller market than last year we hope that we will see you all there."

Stallholders already confirmed include Culbokie Cake Fairies, All That Melts, Mieles Gelateria, Highland Mixology, Keltic Kitchen, 3 Little Bakers (sold by Invergordon Development Trust), Esme's Garden Gift Boxes, Loch Ness Honey, Black Orchid, Cromarty Brewery, White Cottage Crafts & Bakes, Perk Donuts, Mallownuts, Loch Ewe Sea Salt, Heavenly Bakes, Jumping Goats Diary, RNLI, and Tropics – with more expected.

"We will post more info on our traders in the coming days leading up to the market so keep an eye on the [trust's Facebook] page," added the organiser.
