Police are hunting a suspect who tried to enter a vehicle and acted aggressively towards the driver in Muir of Ord.

Officers are today appealing for information on the incident which was around 8.15am on Monday.

The occupied vehicle was stopped at the traffic lights at the railway bridge on Great North Road at the time.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "The male was prevented from opening the door and acted aggressively towards the driver."
