A 40-year-old man is to be reported to the Procurator Fiscal following a crash on the A9 north of Dingwall.

One person was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the two-car crash on Saturday afternoon.

It happened at the junction for Skiach Services about 2.35pm and resulted in the road being closed for almost three hours.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said the road reopened about 5.20pm.

"A 40-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the crash," he added.
