A 24-year-old Strathpeffer man will be sentenced next month after throwing a TV from a third-floor window and also admitting threatening behaviour.

Sheriff Robert Macdonald decided to call for a background report on Kieran Sehar, of Ardival Street, after he admitted the offences without hearing the facts.

Sehar pleaded guilty to culpably and recklessly throwing a TV set from a third-floor window of a Dingwall property and threatening behaviour towards a woman whom he had assaulted in Dingwall on February 11, 2021.

He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards police, shouting and swearing in Kessock Road, Inverness and Raigmore Hospital in Inverness and spitting on the floor of a police vehicle on May 29, 2022.

He will appear for sentence on August 25.
