Man due in court after being arrested in connection with alleged threats made against staff at a number of businesses in Highland capital

A 42-year-old man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today after he was arrested yesterday and charged in connection with a number of alleged threats.

Inspector Les Davidson, of Inverness Police Station, said: “Between 10.50am and 11.30am on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, police received reports of a man making threats towards staff at three business premises in Inverness.

“A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 15.”
