A ROSS-SHIRE photographer had a successful participation at a prestigious photography award event with her artistic wedding celebration snaps.

Lynne Kennedy, from Lochalsh, has triumphed amongst the thousands of entries submitted from across the globe for this year's Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, a leading celebration of the art of food photography and film.

Two of Ms Kennedy’s images were Highly Commended Champagne Taittinger Wedding Food Photographer category. Soaked features a young couple returning by boat following their marriage at a beautiful, hidden Scottish loch. The image captures their surprise as their celebratory bottle explodes.

Her second image, Stormy Fizz, captures a couple directly following their marriage ceremony on a mountainside in Scotland, enjoying their champagne celebration.

The winners were announced by globally acclaimed chef and co-presenter of UK Masterchef: The Professionals, Monica Galetti, in an exciting Awards ceremony that was live streamed on the competition’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, April 26.

It was watched by an audience across the globe, including celebrities from the food and photography world.
