Live the highlife at Invergordon leisure open day

High Life Highland is hosting an open day at Invergordon Leisure Centre next week.

Both highlife members and non-members have the opportunity to try out the wide range of equipment, facilities, and group fitness classes on offer.

Being held next Saturday (November 9) the day is completely free.

Activities on offer are set to include aqua aerobics and racket sports as well as group classes including pilates, Zumba, indoor cycling and body pump.

For those interested in the gym there will be induction sessions throughout the day as well as a dedicated teen gym session.

Children can take part in football, multi sports and boccia sessions and for older members of the community there will be the opportunity to try out some of the health and wellbeing classes such as Otago.

Catriona Fraser, manager at Invergordon Leisure Centre, said: “We are so excited to host our open day next weekend and hope to see a lot of new as well as familiar faces coming along to try out all the wonderful activities we have on offer.”

Steve Walsh, High Life Highland’s chief executive, added: “As a charity, we aim to support the wellbeing of our customers and members, particularly during this time where everyone is seeing increased pressures on their personal finances.

“Our highlife membership offers affordable access to a whole range of facilities across the Highlands.”
