Copper thieves hunted by Police Scotland officers in the Highlands after industrial estate site hit in Ross-shire

POLICE are hunting copper thieves who stole a 'large amount' of wiring from an industrial compound in Ross-shire.

Officers have appealed for information after the theft of the copper wiring from Network Refrigerating in Balintore Industrial Estate.

The thieves broke into the compound sometime between 6pm on January 22 and 11pm on January 23.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident should call police on 101 or via the Police Scotland website, quoting "incident 1681 of January 25" as their reference.

Anonymous reports can also be made to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 11.
