A ROSS-SHIRE team of lifesavers is hoping for better things next year when one of its major fundraising events rolls around.

In common with many voluntary organisations and charities depending on donations from the public and income from set-piece fundraising events, Kyle RNLI has been affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Its Maritime Day, which would have been staged this weekend, was amongst a long list of coronavirus casualties this year.

The team posted: "It should have been our Maritime Day today. Roll on next year where we will hopefully see you all again."

It posted footage from a previous event to share a flavour of the day.
