Killearnan Community Council tees up AGM with open invitation to public and an opportunity to meet new Black Isle councillors as items ranging from hall reopening to dangerous crossing up for discussion

A BLACK Isle community council is gearing up for an annual general meeting with a number of major items on its agenda.

Killearnan Community Council said all are welcome to attend the AGM lanned for June 2 in Tore Hall at 7pm. It said: "Join us to meet the new councillors and to have your say about local issues. Items on the agenda include: the dangerous A9 Tore pedestrian crossing; re-opening Tore Hall for the community; formulating an emergency plan for the area and a report of the latest joint Black Isle Community Council meeting."
