HIGHLAND Hospice has thanked the sponsors of its recent Kessock Bridge abseil.
A number of local businesses helped make the charity’s first event in more than 19 months a huge success.
The abseil took place on Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5, and saw more than 430 people raise an incredible £150,000 for patient care and family support across the Highlands.
Representatives from the event’s sponsors gathered at the hospice to receive a thank you from the charity for their overwhelming support.
Fundraiser Emma Nicol said they could not have done the event without the support from sponsors and added: “This was a fantastic success, and the feedback we have had from everyone who participated has been really positive. We are all still on a high – it’s just so good to have our events back up and running.”
She thanked Harry Gow, who supplied lunches to the team, and Tesco Metro for donating tea, coffee, juice and biscuits.
