On its Facebook page it posted a notice, it read: "As a purely precautionary measure, we have taken the difficult decision to close Johnny Foxes and The Den.

"We were made aware late this morning that a member of our team has today tested positive for Covid–19.

"This person has not been on the premises since early in the week, and as many of you know, we have some of the industry's most robust precautionary measures in place since the very start of the pandemic to protect everyone – however protecting our customers and staff has been and remains our number one priority.

"We are currently carrying out a deep clean of the entire premises, and awaiting contact with the Track and Trace team.

"We will open again as soon as it is 100 per cent safe to do so."
The notice added: "In the meantime, we are grateful for your understanding and support.

"Please check in regularly for news."

A spokesman added: "Anyone with a booking for today will be contacted shortly, please be assured we are working with all the relevant authorities and as always we will be following their guidance."
