Inverness teenager (16) charged with attempted murder

A 16-year-old boy appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court today on charges of attempted murder and assault to severe injury.

It followed the dispatch of a number of police officers to the Clachnaharry area of Inverness yesterday afternoon.

The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
