Firefighters attend incident in Dingwall

EMERGENCY services are on the scene of an ongoing incident at an address in Dingwall.

Firefighters were called to an address at Macrae Crescent in Dingwall at 6.08pm this evening following reports of what is understood to have been a gas explosion.

Two appliances from Dingwall arrived on the scene at 6.15pm.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet, breathing apparatus and thermal imaging during the incident.

It is not clear if there are any casualties as a result of the incident.

Police Scotland said it had been asked to attend by the fire service. Officers are still on site as part of an ongoing investigation.

It's understood gas engineers are also on the scene.
