Blades admitted driving with 41mcgs of cocaine in his system when the legal limit is 10mcgs and then driving dangerously in Stadium Road, Inverness and the A9, reversing his vehicle, striking a gate and road furnishings and then accelerating harshly and driving away at excessive speed.

Sentence was deferred until July 3 for a background report and a restriction of liberty order assessment. He was disqualified from driving in the interim.
