Marty Mone adds extra Strathpeffer Pavilion gig due to ‘overwhelming demand’
AN iconic Ross-shire venue has added a second date for an Irish country sensation to meet overwhelming demand for tickets.
And that’s good news for Strathpeffer Pavilion as well as Marty Mone fans as proceeds from the gigs will help preserve what is one of the Highlands’ most treasured venues.
Originally scheduled for one night only on Saturday, June 28, huge demand has led to the addition of a second show on Friday, June 27, giving fans another chance to catch this one-of-a-kind performer.

Organized by the Strathpeffer Pavilion Community Trust (SPCT), the gigs mark Mone's only Scottish performances of the year and promise an unforgettable weekend of high-octane music, storytelling and community spirit.
Mone, best known for his breakout hit, Hit the Diff, has built an international following with his high-energy fusion of country and folk, inspired by his life as a tractor and lorry driver. His down-to-earth lyrics, signature style and crowd-pleasing performances have made him a standout figure on the live music scene.
"The Strathpeffer Pavilion is an absolutely amazing venue," said Mone. "We’ve travelled the world and have never experienced hospitality like it anywhere else. We’re buzzing to be coming back for what will be another phenomenal night!”
Fans attending the shows can expect live renditions of Mone’s biggest hits, a chance to see his famous lorry up close and a special post-show meet-and-greet with the man himself.
Fraser Mackenzie, CEO & chair of the SPCT, said: “As voluntary organisers of our fundraising events, we've had the pleasure of working with many fantastic artists over the years at our venue, and Marty is certainly one of the highlights. We’re delighted to welcome him and his team back to the Pavilion and to share another incredible night with fans from across Scotland.”
These all-ages events - though under-18s must be accompanied by an adult - also support a vital local cause. All proceeds will go directly toward the ongoing renovation, preservation and long-term sustainability of the historic Strathpeffer Pavilion - ensuring the beloved Highland venue continues to thrive as a cultural hub for generations to come.
Tickets for the additional date - Friday, June 27 - are on sale now via Eventbrite.
Mr Mackenzie said: “Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see Marty Mone live in one of Scotland’s most treasured venues—and be part of a night that supports both music and community.”
