Highland MP Ian Blackford will be taking part in today's March for Freedom in Inverness.
The event is for people to show their support for Scottish independence.
Mr Blackford, who is the SNP's Westminster leader, said he would also address people at the event.
The MP for Ross, Skye and Lochaber said: "We will have a referendum, let us keep building the momentim towards an independent Scotland in the EU."
Setting off from Walker Park at 1pm it will then travel along Kingsmills Road, Stephen’s Brae, Eastgate, High Street, Bridge Street, Ness Bridge, Ness Walk, Bishop’s Road, Ness Walk and Bught Road, before finishing in the Fishermen’s Car Park near Bught Park.
Organisers are urging supporters to invite friends, family, neighbours and acquaintances, and have stressed it will be a peaceful march.
Previous independence-themed marches staged in the Highland capital have attracted large turnouts and opposition.
