Tain police issue appeal after boat shed break-in and theft of red Honda TRX500FE quad bike from Loch Eye area

THE theft of a quad bike from a boat shed has prompted an appeal for public help from Easter Ross police.

Police in Tain said today the incident centred on a boat shed near Loch Eye which was broken into.

A red Honda TRX500FE quad bike was stolen from inside it, they say.

The theft is believed to have happened between 9pm on Tuesday and 8.45am on Wednesday.

Police said: "The quad bike is suspected to have been pushed from the boat shed to a nearby road between Loandhu and Lochslin then loaded into a vehicle at the roadside."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police quoting incident number 2070 of 18/05/2022.
